SALAMIS 7km north or famagusta is this well preserved roman city, with it's well kept gymnasium baths and a amphitheatre which held 20,000 people dated back to 1100bc..

BELLAPAIS ABBEY  7km east of kyrenia with it's stunning views over kyrenia this church was founded by the Augustine monks in 1250AD.

GIRNE CASTLE  and a 2,300 year old shipwreck and museum situated on the far end of the harbour.

BUYUK HAN  in the middle of the old town of Nicosia. A beautifully restored old market place which is now a fabulous place to buy handicrafts and souvenirs.

KANTARA CASTLE  at the gateway of the Karpaz Peninsula, one of the most complete castles in Cyprus. Legend has it that are 101 rooms and if you find the 101st you will find paradise.

KARPAZ PENINSULA  fine beaches, turtles, and ancient buildings and if you go to the tip, it's a view you will never forget.

APOSTOLOS ANDREAS  and the 10th century church of Ayios Philon found on the Karpaz Penincula recently restored must not be missed.
